This last update published from Killer whale game:
We got a letter from kickstarter. It indicates the reason why our project is closed.
Thank you for writing in. After an extended review of your project, we determined that it does not fall within our rules.
All projects on Kickstarter must fall within our rules and one of our 15 categories. They must also have a plan for creating – and finalizing – something to share with others. Our rules and guidelines ask that creators raise the amount of money needed to bring a project to completion and fulfill all pledged rewards. However, your project stated that, “After Kickstarter campaign, we will start IndieGoGo campaign.” This is against our rules and best practices, as we expect that creators will be raising the funds necessary to complete their creative idea.
Apologies that this wasn’t noticed prior to your launch, but because of this, your project was suspended.
If, in the future, you’d like to resubmit this idea in a more complete form and in a way that meets our rules, we’d be happy to take a look at it. At that time, we’d ask that you also share more information about the current (rather than prospective) state of your project’s development, as well as clear indications of gameplay footage versus rendered cutscene videos.
We know that this isn’t ideal for anyone, but we’re here to help if you have any questions or other project ideas that you’d like to share. Just let us know.
